A name or place entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider that operates that feature. The provider processes the request and supplies its results. Scotts Bluff County Criminal History does not keep or record those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
When you email us, the message is retained as needed to prepare and send a response. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.

No Criminal-Record Data on File
Scotts Bluff County Criminal History does not keep, compile, or sell a database of personal criminal records. It provides general directions to records held by the Scotts Bluff County Sheriff's Office, the County and District Courts, the Nebraska State Patrol Criminal Identification Division, and the Nebraska Sex Offender Registry. The site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party criminal-history profiles.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power the search boxes. Information submitted through a box is governed by that provider's privacy policy rather than this policy. Each provider controls its own retention and disclosure practices. Review those terms before sending a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Scotts Bluff County offices, Nebraska court and agency portals, legal-aid resources, or outside search services. Once you follow an external link, the destination's privacy policy controls. Read that policy before providing personal information.
Some advertising partners may use their own systems to follow activity across websites and select targeted ads. We do not operate that tracking.
